William's Yellow Welly Walk for the RNLI

William's Yellow Welly Walk · 14 April 2018
Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page.
In May, when I am on holiday in the Isle of Wight with Mummy and Daddy, I am going to walk from Sandown to the RNLI Boathouse at Bembridge (it's a 5 mile walk because I am 5). I will be doing this in my RNLI welly boots! I am 'Doing My Bit to Fund Their Kit!'
I am really interested in learning about the RNLI and everything they do to save lives at sea. The lifeboat crew are volunteers and they help us when we are in trouble in the water.
I love visiting lifeboat stations and seeing the different lifeboats and all the kit the crew need to help them save lives.
I want to help the RNLI to raise £750,000 in May to purchase essential new kit. Your donation, however big or small, will help towards this total.
When the brave volunteer crews answer the call for help, they don't know what they will be facing. Huge waves, storms, darkness. They need to be prepared for anything. The right kit can save lives and makes sure crew members are ready when that Mayday call comes. Just £25 could buy a pair of sea-going gloves, £56 will buy a pair of wellies and £458 can buy a lifejacket.
