Our very brave Dad will be attending hospital for treatment 5 days a week for 5 weeks and the wonderful volunteer drivers will give up their time to take him to and from hospital each day.

 

How our Dad would get to the hospital each day for his appointments, was a real worry for us as a family. We wanted this to be as comfortable and stress-free for him as possible. It was easy in the early days to sit back and say we'll manage, we'll work it between us, however then reality of work commitments, other health issues, etc all kick and in and it all adds to an already upsetting time.

 

My Dad then told us of Lanarkshire Cancer Care Trust who have a number of volunteer drivers who will take him to and from his appointments each day. This is run purely on a voluntary basis and we as a family want to raise as much money as possible in order to say a huge thank you.
