This August, myself and 5 friends will be taking on the infamous LEJOG cycle. Covering over 1,000 miles from Lands End, Cornwall to John O'Groats, Scotland. 

We've set an ambitious 10 days to complete the ride, averaging just over 100 miles a day (with a few inevitable wrong turns) I've never claimed to be a keen cyclist so this will be interesting!

All of this will be in support of several charities. In particular, my Just Giving page is for CRY UK (Cardiac Risk in the Young), a charity very close to my heart.

Every week in the UK at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions. With your donation, CRY can reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD) by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening facilities to promote and protect the cardiac health of our young.
