In these hard times, I have been concerned about animal friends who have been and will be left homeless, due to economic hardships and deaths. I'm concerned that animal shelters across the UK are going to be overwhelmed and struggling to care for many more animals than they would have before this pandemic.
Therefore, I have decided to help Dogs Trust because I love animals and saw the idea for 26 dog tricks on their website-- a no-brainer since I have such a clever border collie, and she needs some extra mental stimulation! Some of the tricks she knows and some will be a real challenge, but it's all good and for a great charity!

The aim of Dogs Trust is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second
chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners. We are
reliant on voluntary donations to continue our work and without this it
would be simply impossible to care for over 15,000 dogs every year (and that is without the incidents I mentioned previously!).
Save the UK's CharitiesGeneral fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and many charities, particularly smaller ones, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income. This impacts all sectors of society from children to the elderly as well as the vital work in areas such as palliative care, serious diseases, mental health, housing support, food supplies and countless others that charities support.
