Here's what I'm running for...

Size of Herefordshire (www.sizeofherefordshire.org) is an organisation that is working to protect an area of rainforest the size of my home county of Herefordshire - that's 2,180 square km (538,690 acres in old money).

Protecting rainforest is one of the best ways to protect the environment on a global scale. Forests provide the home for a huge diversity of animal and plant life, help to drive the water cycle, regulate weather systems, and are instrumental in the fight against climate change.

One of the best ways to protect forests is by supporting the land rights of indigenous people that live there. This is exactly what Forest People Programme does. You can learn more about there work here: https://www.forestpeoples.org/
