Our Grandad, Alex, worked for the Lighthouse Board for many years and when we were young (and obviously had poorer taste in clothing!) we had some brilliant holidays staying at the lighthouses.

 

Unfortunately Alex is no longer with us but in order to keep his memory alive and to raise money for the Macmillan Nurses and the wonderful work that they do for people like our Grandad, we (for some ridiculous reason!) have decided it would be a great idea to jump off the top of one of these lighthouses!  So, on September 3rd, Eilidh, Mhairi and their dad Kenny (who should really be at an age to know better!!!) will abseil from the top of the Mull of Galloway Lighthouse  and would really appreciate a little help in raising as much as they possible can to help Macmillian continue in their work..
