Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are a group of 15 candidates on a Leadership Development Programme (LDP), working for Wincanton.

In the current climate, we realise that we are in a fortunate position to receive further development and training. Our aim is to give something back, by using and sharing the tools and skills we have learnt on the LDP.

We have chosen to support Aspire, a careers foundation within the CILT (Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport). Their aim is to provide financial help to individuals who may not otherwise have access to exceptional training and development opportunities without external assistance. People of all ages and all nationalities throughout the CILT global community can apply for help with their career development aspirations. Globally, CILT has around 33,000 members whose skills and professional competence are fundamental to the success of transport and supply systems around the world.

We are planning 4 fundraising events before May 2010, which should both raise the profile of Aspire and develop us as LDP candidates. These events are:

1. Football tournament 5 a side

2. Sending a parcel around Wincanton sites (Group wide)

3. Auction the front cover & 2 page article in FOCUS magazine

4. Golf tournament
