If you’ve not heard of the Wessex Cancer Trust before, they are a local charity based in Chandler’s Ford (but provide services to the whole area) they support and provide vital services to people both before and after cancer treatment. Sadly, cancer is something that often strikes very close to home, and it’s possible that some of you may know people who have used their services. They recently launched an emergency appeal and we want to help.

As Lib Dem members and supporters we wanted to give something back to the community in some way, and what better day to do it on than the extra day we gain this year because 2020 is a leap year.

The walk is approximately 17 miles, but we have many shorter options too. We plan to start in Alresford and end in Chandler’s Ford, stopping in Winchester for lunch on the way.
