Our Baby Bundles Programme has recently restarted by our volunteers with the aim to provide some of the essential baby items to those in need, because every baby deserves an equal start in life. 

There is a demand for essential baby items, with the cost of living crisis and we believe that every parent should have access to these items. 

Our Baby Bundles, put together by volunteers, can provide parents with some of the essentials they need for their hospital stay and the first week with their baby. The free Bundle is a mosses basket which contains essentials such as newborn nappies, wipes, breast pads, babygros, muslins and more and are distributed to parents who otherwise might not be able to afford these basic necessities. The Bundles will also contain information about the NCT charity and how it can support them through the first 1000 days of parenthood.

We are grateful for the generous donations from local families of items that can be recycled into Baby Bundles. We are raising funds to cover the cost of items that we're unable to obtain through donations and to contribute towards our storage costs, enabling us to store donations and turn them into our bundles

The first 1000 days of a baby’s life, from pregnancy to 2yrs, are the most important in terms of development. But they can also be the most challenging as a parent – even more challenging if you are in difficult circumstances. Our Baby Bundle can help to ease these worries by providing the essentials.Sometimes it's the little things which make a big difference to a family's wellbeing.

Our program operates on a referral basis only, with our partner organisations notifying Winchester NCT of the requirement for each new Bundle. The bundle will then be put together by NCT volunteers and delivered to the referrer.
