Story

Hey guys it's me Windy Wilson

I was diagnosed with diabetes on Christmas Eve 2013 . . . Since 2014, I have been fundraising through my annual golf days, but more recently I have started running, so all my fundraising now comes via running marathons and ultra marathons for charity

My wee niece Sadie was diagnosed with T1 back in October 2019

To date we have raised just over £45,000 for Diabetes UK, and a staggering £171,000 in total, for various charities since 2014

I ran the London Marathon in 2019 and raised £33,000 pounds for Diabetes UK, and in September 2019 I ran the Berlin Marathon for Prostate Cancer UK raising just under £17,000 pounds

I've completed 3 World Marathon Majors (London. Berlin. Chicago). And I’ll be running London again in April 2023. Then hopefully it'll be the NYC marathon in November 2023. I want to run all 6 WMM - London. Berlin. Chicago. Boston. New York and Tokyo before I’m 60 (currently 56)

Much love ~ Team Windy
