This marathon is Bordeauxing on the ridiculous but we feel that
Small Steps is a very worthwhile cause.
Small Steps is a charity that helps children with physical disabilities, aged from birth to 5 years, work on all areas of their development, using the principles of conductive education. The children that go to Small Steps have cerebral palsy, other forms of motor impairment, syndromes or sensory impairment. They need a great deal of extra stimulation and assistance to help them reach even the most basic milestones. At Small Steps a teacher, conductor and physiotherapist lead both parent and child through a structured programme designed to help each child achieve individualised developmental steps. Small Steps is a free service and receives no statutory funding so is solely dependent on charitable grants, fundraising and donations.
