From its beginnings in 1951, the Wings Appeal has gone on to raise £173 million allowing for inflation and valued at today’s rates. This is an incredible amount that has allowed the RAF Association to offer vital welfare support to so many within the RAF community.

This years is the 70th Anniversary of the Wings appeal and the 81st anniversary of Battle of Britain. We at the MOD Abbey wood RAFA Committee are aiming to raise vital funds to help RAFA and the Wings appeal to provide ongoing support to people in difficult times and without your much welcomed contribution, everything we do would not be possible, and for that we thank you. however your assistance is still much needed
