Losing 100 Pounds for Dad

Dad finally succumbed to his Cancers in August 2011. He had been suffering for more than 10 years, first with Prostate Cancer and then with Bone Cancer. He died a terrible death. He died on the fourth anniversary of the start of my successful battle against Bowel Cancer. I am one of the lucky ones. We need to do more to fight this terrible disease and I need to lose weight !
The Civil Aviation Authority forbid people raising money to Wing Walk. Dad was in the RAF so I wanted to take to the skies in his memory. But you can only Wing Walk if you weigh under 12 Stone! When I started going to Weight Watchers I weighed in at a massive 19stone 7 Pounds. To get down to 12 stone from there I need to lose 100 yes ONE HUNDRED Pounds.
If you sponsor me 10p per pound that would mean a donation of £10 to Cancer Research (Adding in Gift Aid and removing the Just Giving Fees) your £10 would grow to to £ 11.75.
20p per pound = £23.50 ....... you get the picture.
I think it will take me TWO YEARS but I will try and do it in less. And my reward would be the adveture of doing a Wing Walk
A Great incentive to honour a Great Man and raise money for a truly worthwhile Charity.
