Story

Thank you for visiting our JustGiving page!

Firefighters from Winsford Fire Station's DC & on-call watches will be taking part in a static cycle ride to Deuil-la-Barre, Winsford's twin town, which is a total distance of 433miles!

The event is to take place on Saturday the 8th August on the front of the fire station with all money raised donated to the Fire Fighter's charity, please feel free to pay us a visit & cheer us on!

Please give whatever you can to help us reach our fundraising target.

The Firefighters Charity provide confidential, personalised support to the whole of the fire services community, delivering mental health, physical health and social wellbeing services at their centres, remotely, online and in communities around the UK.

Championing the health and wellbeing of all those they support - serving, retired or dependant - they aim to ensure that their beneficiaries can live well, for life. In addition, they are not all firefighters. They exist to support all fire and rescue service personnel, whatever their role in the service. They are also there for all those who have retired, as well as for spouses and qualifying dependants.

The cancellation of fundraising events due to the pandemic is causing our income to fall short of £200,000 a month. These are unprecedented times and, as such, we are asking you to take action now to support us through this challenging time.
