Wirral Hospice St John's provides specialist palliative care for the Wirral. It costs up to £7m a year to run the Hospice, which is at no charge to our patients. This is all thanks to the loyal support and commitment of our supporters who do so much to help raise funds for our charity's work.

Story

The Hospice needs a new kitchen!

Recent refurbishment left the Hospice with great new facilities for our patients and our new Hub Café has been a great success.

"The café provides a place for families to eat away from the bedside and for families to meet following bereavement when plans have to be made.

However, the good news does have a downside in that our kitchen is no longer able to cope. It was installed over 20 years ago when things here at the Hospice were very different. With modern medical developments and half our in-patients going home, food plays an important part in patient quality of life".

Donations towards our Kitchen Appeal can be made through this site, by sending a cheque, giving cash or holding an event to raise money.

Every donation will enable the Hospice to have a kitchen fit for purpose, providing an absolute necessity for our patients, staff and visitors alike.
