Whalley FC Under 9s are to undertake a challenge that consists of running over a marathon distance (26.2 miles) over a period of 6 weeks.

This is to raise money for a worthy charity supported by the footballer, Marcus Rashford, which aims to see an end to child food poverty. Marcus Rashford has been the ambassador of Farshare since March 2020 and since then has helped raise enough money to distribute the equivalent of over 9.5 million meals for children and families who might not otherwise eat. 

The charity needs ongoing support and we, as a team want to contribute to this worthy cause. Every pound makes a difference  to these young people’s  lives.
