The Weybridge Male Voice Choir is used to fundraising for charities of many kinds and in a typical year we might have 20 or more fundraising concerts. But 2020 is far from a typical year.

Rather than remain silent we have embarked upon our second virtual
performance with "Can’t Help Falling in Love", a piece that the Choir has
already recorded in readiness for our centenary year in 2021. Members
recorded their singing as individuals to a soundtrack that keeps
everybody in time. If you look closely you will see all the singers
wearing headphones as they listen to the music.

In keeping with our fundraising endeavours we are linking with the
charity Shooting Star Children's Hospices; along with many other organisations that depend on donations and fundraising support they are struggling through this lockdown period. Fundraising events such as our concerts are still some way off which means that charities like Shooting Star Children's Hospices will continue to struggle for some time to come. As they strive for funding their support for children with life limiting conditions and their families will be under threat. If you have enjoyed our singing please consider making a donation to Shooting Star
Children's Hospices using the Just Giving link provided. It would help them, help the children they support and help us as Weybridge Male Voice Choir to feel that we can still support our community during these challenging times.
