We are a group of young people taking part in NCS,  who are raising money for a wonderful charity, The Lighthouse. We have been working with Shah Jahan Mosque in Woking, who have been very welcoming and kind. Unfortunately, they face a lot of Islamophobia, which is why we believe they deserve our help. The Mosque were adamant that they shouldn't receive the money we raise, because they focus on helping others. They suggested we raise money for a charity that helps the homeless people in our local area, and so we have decided to raise money for The Lighthouse. We aim to promote interfaith education, and support unity within our community.
