I have worked for the charity, Woking Shopmobility, since 2019.  They provide a vital service to those experiencing mobility challenges.  We hire out mobility scooters, power chairs, and manual wheelchairs for use around Woking town centre enabling people to shop, visit the theatre and cinema, and keep appointments.

As a charity, we rely on fundraising activities to help us continue to provide this much needed service within the community, however due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been unable to run any events since Feb 2020.

We were invited by Woking Rotary Club to participate in their annual Swimathon event held at Woking Pool in Park on Sunday 10th October.
