NHS Charities Together and its members across the UK are hugely grateful for the support received from so many since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Story

Write Out Loud is running a unique competition backed by celebrities from BBC’s top TV drama, Casualty. They have linked with award winning Manchester poet Andrew McMillan who will judge the competition winners alongside special ‘People’s Choice’ award - where we'll be asking the public to vote.

“I want this to bring in serious, considered poetry, but also to have a broader, public appeal, to boost donations at this most critical time in NHS history." says Andrew, who has waived his fee as the first donation towards Write Out Loud’s target of £10,000.

"We  need you to make a donation, as the NHS is going through the toughest time it has ever seen.”  explains Kirsty Mitchell, who plays Faith Cadogan in the BBC series Casualty.
