The Rotary Annual Christmas Appeal would normally be visiting your area with Santa's Sleigh. Due to COVID Santa's elves cannot knock on your door this year but Wollaton Park Rotary is once again collecting to support those in need in our community. We think it is as vital this year as any in the past.

This year, every penny raised will go to good causes in our local community Aspley-Bilborough-Strelly-Wollaton area. We are collecting for Treetops Hospice, Framework (homeless and disadvantaged) and other local Rotary charities.

The % contribution (on top of your donation) is ‘voluntary’ it is not ‘mandatory’.

Treetops Hospice (www.treetopshospice.org.uk)

Treetops supports people with illnesses such as cancer, motor neurone disease and multiple sclerosis. It also supports their carers and families. All services are provided free of charge. The hospice has to raise more than £4.3 million every year to run. That’s about £12,000 per day. 70% of this comes from charitable donations and fundraising events.

We are a charity delivering housing, health, employment, support and care services to people with a diverse range of needs across the East Midlands in Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire, and in Sheffield.
