Wong Lab March Challenge · 6 March 2023

Campaign by UNICEF UK (RCN 1072612 (England & Wales) and SC043677 (Scotland))
More than 30,000 people have been killed and millions severely affected by the major earthquakes that hit large parts of Türkiye (Turkey) and Syria on 6 February. Help UNICEF reach children and families affected by these devastating earthquakes.

Story

As we begin to welcome spring and warmer weather in London, it is a great time to engage in exercise. The Wong Lab is conducting a March Challenge encouraging each of its members to participate in at least 30 minutes of exercise each day for 30 days. At our Twitter @TheWongLab, you can view weekly updates during this challenge, including the unique ways each of our members are achieving this goal and both personal and research-based insights on how exercise can be beneficial for one's physical and mental health.

We hope that our March Challenge can raise money to support UNICEF UK's Turkey and Syria Earthquake Relief Fund. Thousands have been killed and tens of thousands are severely affected by the huge earthquakes that hit large parts of Türkiye (Turkey) and Syria on the 6th of February. UNICEF is especially concerned for the safety and well-being of children who have lost their homes, those who are sleeping rough, and those who have been separated from their families. UNICEF is working round the clock to protect the health and welfare of children who are in need of food and clean water. Please help us reach our £500 goal to support this important cause.
