Story
For those of you who know Wonky, you will remember her chasing her grandchildren around, dancing with them, (usually performing the ‘Floss!), striding through the village on her daily 2 mile speed walk, dancing or something equally as energetic and silly!
Wonky’s diagnosis of Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) has resulted in her requiring 24 hour care. Rennie Hospice have been a lifeline to Mum and our family and friends. Their specialist care (night and day) has guided us every step of the way, helped ensure she receives the best care and most importantly have enabled her wishes to stay at home to be met. They have always been kind and compassionate and there when we need throughout Mum’s fight with this cruel disease.
We want to say thank you to Rennie from the bottom of our hearts and have entered the Tour de Rennie Grove, taking on 248km over 3 rides from the 11-26 June, to raise money for this amazing organisation. Wish us luck and thank you for your donations.
