Bury Hospice provides palliative and end-of-life care to hundreds of residents and their families across Bury. It will cost to run the Hospice this year £4.5million and we raise 87% of this total, but with the support of our community we continue to provide care and services to those who need it.

Story

BURY HOSPICE FUNDRAISER Nigel Hill is one of our most well known and loved Woodbank CC members who always has time for everybody and all those jobs around the club. We are sure all our members would like to support Nigel to raise funds for Bury Hospice. Nigel has recently received fantastic care from the Hospice as have many of our families and friends. On 26 August Nigel will be walking 20 laps of the ground. We would love as many members, players and friends to join us as possible and walk with Nigel and fund raise. We will begin at 6pm. Juniors attending training will be able to join the walk as part of their 'warm up'. Everybody is welcome whether you can manage 1 lap or 20. Please join us if you can both on the walk and for a few drinks afterwards in the clubhouse.
