Watoto brings hope and healing to vulnerable women and children in Uganda and South Sudan. We aim at the pain in our communities and invite you to join us in seeing their situations transformed.

Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

A team from Wood Mackenzie's Edinburgh office are heading to Uganda in February 2009 to build a house as part of a community development project. We will be working with Watoto, which is a charitable organisation creating entire communities where AIDS orphans and war-affected children can learn and grow in a safe environment. These villages contain houses, schools, a medical clinic, a church and community hall, a clean water source, roads and electricity.

Watoto’s motto is ‘Rescue a Child, Raise a Leader, Rebuild a Nation’. It’s a hugely exciting and worthwhile project to be a part of and your contribution will help enormously.

So please dig deep and help us to raise the £16,000 required to build a home and a future for these Ugandan children. We are seeking to raise this money by February 2009 in order to see this fantastic project realised.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. And if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thank you for your support!
