Lydia Sleeps Out to End Homelessness

World's Big Sleep Out Chicago 2019 · 7 December 2019 ·
For one night, on December 7th, 2019, I will be "sleeping out" on DePaul University's Quad in Chicago, IL. I am not doing this to play at homelessness or as a one-time stunt, but to raise awareness and funds for local and international causes.
Half the funds that I raise will support two local organizations: Depaul USA, which supports students who are housing insecure or homeless; and All Chicago, which leads Chicago's city-wide efforts to end homelessness.
Half the funds that I raise will support four international organizations: The Institute of Global Homelessness, UNICEF USA, the Malala Fund, and Social Bite. These organizations all address homelessness and displacement in every corner of the world.
I believe that we belong to each other and have a responsibility to help our neighbors who are most in need, living on streets and in shelters.
Please do your part to share my page and make your contribution of any size to help me hit my fundraising target of $1,000 and send $500 to local causes and $500 to international causes!
