Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Back in November 2017, cancer finally got the better of my fantastic mum. It was awful - properly horrific. Except that the team from Longfield Hospice helped Mum die with dignity and as comfortably as possible while supporting my family too. They're a marvelous and wonderful thing - this is my way of saying thank you.

As it stands, cancer's gonna kill 1 in 2 of us - so that's me or you. It's not pretty. So, let's help Longfield help those who're losing their battle with cancer.

What we need is something ridiculous that'll put a smile on everyone's faces... so, I'm going for an official Guinness World Record as the World's Fastest Fancy Dress Fairy (male) by competing in the London Marathon on October 2nd 2022. The current world record is 2 hours, 49 minutes and 44 seconds. With your support, I reckon I can flutter round in under 2 hours 40 minutes.

So, get donating (I'm thinkin' £2.62 - that's 10p a mile and less than a latte). Tell your family and friends to donate too - and with your support - we can give cancer a hearty poke in the eye, a bunch of help those suffering right now AND your positive psyche and energy will spur me to a be the World's Fastest Fairy - let's make this wish come true!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
