Story
A team of volunteers are attempting to break a world record for the World's Largest Teddy Bear's picnic. This is being held at Larmer Tree Gardens on Sunday 6th July. The picnic and World Record starts at 1pm (Gates open at 11am). It costs £1 per bear, and you can bring up to 20 bears. All funds raised are going towards treatment for 6 year old Alfie O'Neill from Dorset who needs physiotherapy to help him walk after receiving SDR surgery in May 2014.
Many people have stated that they would love to attend this event and help Alfie achieve his goal of walking, but for different reasons are unable to attend. By donating the money directly to Alfie's cause, you can still help him reach his overall goal of walking. So please donate £1 - £20 (or more), and help him walk. The money donated will not count towards the world record attempt as Teddy Bear's have to actually attend the picnic with their owner, but it will help Alfie get closer to taking unaided steps.
Little Alfie stated that his big goal in life is to one day play football - we can help him achieve this so please donate.
