Scholarships are such an important part of the picture for many university students - representing, for some, a well-earned acknowledgement of their achievements; for others, recognition of their passion and potential for impact.
But for so many students, a scholarship represents their ability to event begin their university journey in the first place. Financial barriers to study are broad and include needing to work for a living income, contributing to household finances, assisting family and community members, and a range of other imposts that make the journey nonviable to even begin.
