Chestnut Tree House is the children’s hospice for East Sussex, West Sussex, Brighton and Hove and South East Hampshire, caring for 300 children and young adults from 0-19 years of age every year, both at the hospice and in families’ own homes.

Story

On the 6th July 2019 13.30pm  We(Spencer and Dan) will be cycling over 1700 miles for Chestnut Tree House. UNSUPPORTED . Setting off from The Rose and Crown, Worthing all the way down to the bottom of the boot. Catania, Sicilly.

The Journey will include riding through France  over the dreaded Alps into Switzerland, then into Italy and all the way down to Catania, Sicily. The Journey will include stopping off at some amazing cities along the way. Paris, Milan, Rome and Naples.

24 Days of cycling covering 60-100 miles a day will take its toll. Gaining over 75,000 feet of altitude throughout the journey. This second epic adventure will batter us relentlessly causing an unbelievable amount of stress on the body, camping in all weather conditions and environments. Temperatures getting to a mere 40 degrees Celsius- easy.

This will not be easy being the most outrageous challenge to take part in, but all worth it for such an important Charity in Sussex. The Aim is £10,000 can it be done? Sure.
