CORNWALL YFC WOTNOT 2016 · 10 February 2016

The number of people diagnosed with cancer is growing, we're doing whatever it takes to help more people with cancer get the best care the UK has to offer, whoever and wherever they are. To donate, volunteer, raise money or campaign with us, call 0300 1000 200 or visit macmillan.org.uk

Story

On the 30th April 2016 25 members of the Cornwall Federation of Young Farmers Clubs will be cycling from Kenilworth (Warwickshire) up the coast to Scarborough, and then across country to arrive in Blackpool on 6th May 2016. .

Each year the Federation's chairman chooses there charity challenge of how them and a group of members will get to the National Federation of Young Farmers Club Annual Convention.

The chairman chooses a charity they wish to raise money for and this year as County Chair I have chosen MacMillan Cancer Nurses as they cared for my Granny in her final months of her life. Cancer affects so many people, and is an illness that has directly or indirectly effected everyone.

In doing this challenge, we would like to raise money to make sure that these nurses are available to deliver the care that their patients and affected family member needs.

Our journey can be followed using #WOTNOT2016 on Twitter and Facebook, we will keep everyone informed of how our journey is going.

Thank you taking time to read my story, and thank you if you have donated.
