Three Peaks Challenge · 18 October 2019

The AWARE Foundation engages and leverage the collective influence of divers to take conservation actions to address key threats facing the marine environment, further elevating and supporting the vision to achieve balance between humanity and ocean.

Story

The WPP IT Walkers are a group doing the Three Peaks National Challenge for Project AWARE Foundation (International) because we are seeking to reduce the impact of plastic on the environment.

The WPP IT Walkers have accepted the challenge to complete the Three Peaks Challenge – climbing the tallest mountain peaks in England, Scotland and Wales within 24 hours.

We are undertaking the challenge to raise money for our chosen charity, Project Aware. The chosen charity reflects our commitment to reduce the impact of plastics on our environment. Please help us by donating for a great cause.

More about Project Aware:

More than 250 million tons of plastic are estimated to make its way into our ocean by 2025. Everyday trash is entering the sea at an alarming rate. It is urgent, now more than ever, that we take collective action against the onslaught of marine debris. Project AWARE works to reduce underwater impacts of marine debris and prevent trash from entering the ocean in the first place.
