The Macmillan World Championship Coracle Race, sponsored by JT Hughes, returns to the River Severn in Shrewsbury on the afternoon of Friday 15th September 2017.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Every year W R Davies Motor Group compete in the World Coracle Championships, held at the Pengwern Boat House, Shrewsbury.

The race see's many teams compete in an epic battle to cross the Rover Severn and back four times in a relay for the title of the 'World Coracle Champions!'

Whilst enjoying the drama and watching the odd contestant take a dip in the river, there is also plenty of entertainment for all ages, food and competitions making a great day out for the family!

All the money raised is in aid of a fantastic cause, the Macmillan Cancer Support.

This year the race is on Friday the 16th of September, all are welcome, please come along and enjoy the day with us!
