Story
Wrexham Salvation Army is once again preparing for the busy Christmas season. For us this partly means providing for those people who find this time of year difficult, either financially or emotionally (or both). We are supporting families through our toy appeal to make sure that no child goes without on Christmas Day.
The centre is still providing emergency food parcels to those struggling due to the Coronavirus Pandemic.
We are also working with the Local Authority to provide meals for those who are homeless and have been accommodated in temporary settings in order to help them stay in isolation according to Government guidelines.
Our online dementia-friendly singing group has also restarted to help us connect with the older generation who may be feeling isolated.
