Bill Waite - raising money for the National Brain Appeal

Our Dad, Bill, passed away on 13th July 2022.
He had been a patient at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery at Queen Square, London, for 14 years. They diagnosed him with a condition called Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) in 2008 and estimated he had 2-4 years to live. A year later they changed the diagnosis to Parkinson's disease with a more positive outlook, but reverted to PSP again in 2018. Essentially, they were guessing.
The Queen Square National Brain Appeal was Dad's charity of choice. He organised two charity golf tours for them in the states in 2013 and 2014, playing with other players with neurological conditions all over the country. In addition, he's also donating them his brain for medical research. Hopefully this will improve their understanding in the future to help with diagnosis and treatment.
Please feel free to make a donation.
Freddie and Joe.
Update - our wonderful cousin Anne is cycling the Viking Challenge in Dad's memory and raising money for the National Brain Appeal. So if you're here to support her you are in the right place! Thank you Anne and good luck!
