I am honoured (and admittedly slightly nervous!) to have accepted a place to run the 2023 London Marathon for Anthony Nolan. 

For someone with blood cancer, a stem cell transplant could be their last chance of survival. Today, five people will start their search for a stranger to save their life. 

Anthony Nolan is the charity that makes lifesaving connections between people with blood cancer and strangers ready to donate their stem cells - in fact, one day I found out that this was me! 

When I was a 1st-year student at the University of Leeds in 2014, I joined the Anthony Nolan register at an event in my halls of residence. Fast forward to 2017 and I was found to be a match for someone with blood cancer who needed a stem cell transplant. I subsequently donated two sets of stem cells and witnessed firsthand the exceptional work that Anthony Nolan does in the fight against blood cancer. 

I am really proud to be supporting this incredible charity and thank you for any donation that you are able to make.
