Story

We are walking 30miles on 4th June across the mendips to raise money for and awareness of Weston Hospice.

Through personal experiences, of family members receiving care from the hospice or working on projects with them we have witnessed the fabulous work they do! (More info below)

Natasha has previously walked the 20mile challenge, and Luci has already tackled the 30 albeit a few years ago. Mark has climbed Ben Nevis but this is the bestest challenge for us all the walking solidly for 10 others, oh and the hills, dreading the hills.

We will post updates and photos of our progress throughout the training.

Receiving an end-of-life diagnosis can be difficult, not just for the patient but also for their loved ones. At Weston Hospicecare, our team of palliative care experts is dedicated to working together to provide specialist support. Our social, emotional, psychological, spiritual and physical care helps guide people through one of the most difficult experiences they will ever face. With only 20% of our funding coming from the NHS, we have to raise £4 million each year to fund our care - something that's only made possible by our community.
