Blesma, The Limbless Veterans helps all serving and ex-Service men and women who have lost limbs, or lost the use of limbs or eyes, to rebuild their lives by providing rehabilitation activities and welfare support.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Every year BLESMA run a Skibike Rehabilitation event in Austria to help injured servicemen (both serving and ex.) to demonstrate there is life after serious injury & limb loss. Many are from recent conflict in Iraq & Afghanistan.

I have been associated with BLESMA for over 20 years as their Instructor-in-Chief, friend and mentor. Continued support for our injured soldiers is essential.

I feel fit and am determined to lead "my" group of amputees in February 2013 to celebrate my 90th year  down the 6,000ft descent of the Oetztal Alps in Austria.

I helped train these young men who have themselves gone on to inspire others with their fortitude.  Ingrid and I are privileged to be involved with BLESMA this is another opportunity for us to raise money for these vital rehabilitation events
