Hi everyone!
As part of our university degree we (Allanah Jay Bielski & Jessica Onyett) are required to complete 40 hours of voluntary work at a non-profit organisation.
We have chosen to travel to Malawi, Africa to volunteer our services at Blantyre SPCA for 2 weeks in April 2022. We will be taking part in free of charge neutering clinics, mass vaccinations and treatment for sick and injured stray animals or those from low-income households. We may also be participating in outreach clinics in local schools (without electricity or running water) to educate the community about animal care, rescuing and rehoming.
We are raising funds for Worldwide Veterinary Service - WVS by hosting a raffle with a range of prizes to be won including cinema tickets, meal vouchers and a baked treats hamper. More prizes will be announced closer to the time. Each ticket requires a donation of £2 to be entered but there is no maximum number of entries. We are aiming to reach a target of £200 so please share with family & friends!
Winner will be announced on 21st January 2022!
