Alf and Robin's WWF Wild Walk 2025

WWF Great Wild Walk Epping Forest · 21 June 2025 ·
Robin (aged 4, environmentalist, tiger defender and general wildlife warrior) is donning his walking boots once again for the WWF Great Wild Walk in Epping Forest. This will be his third year in a row. That’s right – he’s now twice as old and four times more opinionated.
This year he’s walking to save white tigers, wildcats and pigs. He’s especially concerned about how few tigers are left and thinks it's really important we all help. He’s also not a fan of throwing things away. If something’s broken, he’d much rather try and fix it first.
And when it comes to animals being hurt for their fur, he thinks it’s just not right. His suggestion? People could use lovely furry fabric instead – it’s softer on everyone involved.
Meanwhile, I’ll be plodding behind trying to keep up, doing my bit for the humble giant panda – a beacon of conservation hope. Robin says I should be supporting red pandas too, so now I’ve got twice the pressure.
The climate crisis is putting everything we love under threat – the parks we play in, the woods we wander through and the creatures that quietly depend on them. But there’s still time to put things right. Every donation to our page helps WWF protect these spaces and species.
So please chuck in a few quid if you can. For the bugs. For the brambles. For the tigers. For the red and black and white pandas.
Thank you!
Alf and Robin
