The death of a parent or sibling is one of the most terrifying losses a child can face. If left unsupported, it can have serious long term consequences on a child's physical and mental health.

Currently there is no dedicated support service for bereaved children in Wigan and the surrounding area and Winston's Wish is now planning to establish locality services in the Wigan and the surrounding area, to offer local support to bereaved children.

This North West Appeal will support the set up and initial running costs of the local service so that we can help 100s of bereaved children and their families in this area.
