Wye Valley Motocycle club's scooter challenge

Wye Valley Motocycle club scooter challenge · 30 July 2016
On 21st May 2013, some of the Wye Valley Motorcycle club members were involved in a serious RTC. If it wasn't for the back us assistance of the doctor on the air ambulance, we're almost certain there would have been loss of life. As a way of saying 'thank you' and to show our appreciation, every year, we try to raise funds to keep the air ambulance flying. We hope and pray that you never need their services, but it is always reassuring to know it is there if you do need them. This can only be achieved with people's generosity and support as the air ambulance is totally charity funded.
Last year, with the support of our family, friends and the public, we raised £4160. This year, with your support, we hope to break the £5000 barrier.
Over the winter, club members have bought scooters at a cost of £250 or less and have been working tirelessly on them to get them road worthy. On 30th July 2016, we will be riding from The Wye Knott, Symonds Yat to Swansea, stopping off at various locations along the way to collect donations. On 31st July we will be riding from Swansea to Aberdare races where we will be taking to the track just after lunch. So come along to Aberdare races for a great day of family fun and all types of motorbike racing. We guarantee these will not be the usual scooters and riders you expect to see on the road!!
On our return, the scooters will be sold and all profit will be added to your donations to help boost the money raised. Thank you for your support.
