Welcome to our Christmas Prize-draw Fundraiser!

This year, we are excited to be running our Christmas fundraiser as a prize draw, as a thank you for continuing to support us through hard times. Make sure you read down to the bottom to understand how to enter our prize draw.<3

We are determined that everyone should be able to access a quality education, despite the increased challenges we face across the globe.

This year in Greece

Hundreds of asylum seekers have been moved around the country by the government with little warning or explanation, and hundreds more have struggled to access the asylum procedure at all, or are suffering from an increased fear of rejection. This impacts childrens ability to go to school and adults ability to attend classes and learn vital language skills.

Our Response

RefugeeEd has been working with our education partners across Greece to discuss the complex challenges to education in this context, and work collectively on solutions.

Were continuing to build the capacity of our partners through webinars and bespoke support, and encouraging community-led classrooms through our flexible Community Teacher Training (CTT) Programme, which builds the skills and confidence of displaced teachers.

This year, we're trying to raise a small amount which will go a long way.

We want to raise £500, which could;

• Fund one of our volunteer project coordinators living stipend for 1 month - without the efforts of these two, our work would not be possible
• Purchase technology materials such as webcams, microphones or speakers for up to 5 CTT Programmes.
• Cover up to 15 project coordinator trips to visit our partners or facilitate inter-organisational meetups.
  
  

Were a very small charity with very low overheads, so whatever you give, it will go directly to supporting our programmes, improving education for displaced people in Greece and beyond.

Each donor will be entered into a prize draw, and 7 lucky winners will receive one of the following prizes:
