Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The Young Archaeologists’ Club (YAC) forms part of a larger charity called the Council for British Archaeology

Your support will help us to continue to make a significant and positive impact on the lives of young people, by providing unique opportunities for them to explore archaeology and the past.

YAC co-ordinates a network of local archaeology clubs across the UK for young people aged 8–16. These are run by teams of adult volunteers.

We are already providing more than 7,000 opportunities every year for young people to get mud under their fingernails by doing real archaeology.

The Young Archaeologists' Club no longer receives statutory funding for our work. Raising funds is therefore critical to our success. However much we manage to raise together, we make every penny count.

Thank you for your support.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the charity

The Council for British Archaeology is an educational charity, working throughout the UK to involve people in archaeology and to promote the appreciation and care of the historic environment. As a small independent organisation, we rely on funding and donations to continue our vital work.
