I have partnered again with Human Appeal UK this Ramadan to raise funds to feed 9000 people/1500 families across 11 countries insha’Allah!

These are verified projects that I contribute my Zakat & Sadaqa to.

Each night of Ramadan, 10% of the world will go to bed hungry – a staggering 811 million people. That’s 161 million more people than last year.

Since last Ramadan, hunger has been driven up by conflict, displacement, drought, and COVID-19. To a hungry family struggling to find food for Iftar and Suhur, one simple donation can be a lifeline.

This year the focus is to provide food to last the whole month of Ramadan for families in Syria, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, Sudan, Somalia and Nigeria.

Each parcel is tailored to the local country and dietary needs, but on average they contain 60-70 kilograms of nutritious food and will provide a family of six for the whole month with enough essential and nutritious food such as:

Rice • Sugar • Salt  • Flour • Chickpeas  • Lentils  • Tea bags  • Milk powder • Pasta  • Dates • 5 litres of oil • Dates  

The Prophet Muhammad PBUH said: "Whoever gives food to a fasting person to break his fast, swill earn the same reward as him, without anything being lessened from the reward of the fasting person".

£70/$92 - Feed a family-of-six for the whole month of Ramadan.

£140/$185 – Feed 2 families for the month of Ramadan.

£350/$460 – Feed 5 families for the month of Ramadan.

This project is Zakat eligible.
