Story
I am running the Edinburgh marathon on 28 May 2017 and would like to raise funds for research into Multiple Sclerosis which my father in law, Alan Gillies, lived with for 40 years with amazing grace and courage.
All funds raised will go to the Anne Rowling Regenerative Neurology Clinic in Edinburgh which is the hub for clinical trials into neurodegenerative diseases worldwide.
Please note that the Anne Rowling Regenerative Neurology Clinic is part of the University of Edinburgh and is a registered charity whose impact and reach extends far beyond the education of the student body. With expertise in medicine, the sciences and humanities, and centres investigating everything from major brain disorders to inclusion and diversity; the University can be an effective and powerful force for advancement and change with a truly global reach. Like all charities, they rely on donations to continue making a difference in the world.
Rachel and I have been supporting the Anne Rowling Regenerative Neurology Clinic since it opened in 2013 and they have made a tremendous difference to the lives of many.
