On the 15^th April, on my 54^th birthday, (and covid-19 permitting) myself and my rescue chocolate Labrador Gino will be heading off on a huge adventure and challenge - to walk the entire Coast of England - around 2700 miles in total.

Whilst walking we will be raising money for Yappy Ever After Dog Rescue, the charity Gino came from. Without them I wouldn’t have my handsome boy, best friend and companion to accompany me. They are a small Derby based charity that help rescue hundreds of dogs each year both from the UK and abroad in to loving new fur-ever homes all over the UK.  All dogs get cared for in a nationwide network of foster homes and not kennels until they are adopted. 

I have set an initial target of £2700 to raise, £1 for every mile of our English Coast walk. The money we raise will help towards the charity’s vets fees which can be thousand of pounds each month depending on the medical issues of the dogs being rescued, bills they pay without question as they do not have a limit on their vet costs.  Also towards the cost of spaying and neutering, microchipping, vaccinations, the cost of the long term foster of elderly or poorly dogs and transporting dogs from abroad.  You can read more about the charity on their website www.yappyeverafter.org.uk
