On 1 September I will embark on a 15-day cycling trip that will take me through 10 countries and over 3,000 kilometers. I will cycle from London to my hometown of Sevlievo in Bulgaria in support of "Teach For Bulgaria" (“Заедно в Час” - https://zaednovchas.bg/en/).

Teach For Bulgaria is a charity that recruits, trains and deploys teachers to schools in underprivileged and marginalized communities. Unfortunately, Bulgaria is experiencing some of Europe's highest rates of functional illiteracy and school drop-outs. However, Teach For Bulgaria has proven instrumental in fighting those trends by giving children from poor communities the skills necessary for success in the 21st century.

Having experienced the importance of competent and dedicated teachers in my lifetime, it is an honor for me to help Teach For Bulgaria in their mission. Please join me by pledging to this worthy cause. JustGiving will send all of your donations directly to the charity.
