Most people will feel lonely at some point in their lives. It’s a deeply personal experience that - in most cases - will thankfully pass. Sadly, 2.65m older people feel they have no one to turn to for help and around 3.9m older people consider TV to be their main form of company. Donating to this page will help the national Age UK to continue providing vital services that offer companionship, advice and support for older people facing later life alone.

How to enter:
Please email your donation confirmation number to cromer@ybs.co.uk and we can make sure we enter you in to the Raffle.
1. To enter, a donation of £1 must be made on this JustGiving page; this will then enter you into the raffle.
2. Each entry costs £1; each additional donation of £1 will be counted as an additional entry.
3. please email your donation confirmation number to cromer@ybs.co.uk, this will ensure that we are able to contact you should you win!
4. Entrants must be 18 years of age.
5. The raffle will run from 8.30am Friday 12th November 2021 until Friday 17th December, closing at 5pm.
6. We will select the winner(s) at random on 20th December 2021 and will contact the winner(s) by email within one week of the draw.

1. The Promoter is the Yorkshire Building Society (“The Society”). Head Office: Yorkshire House, Yorkshire Drive, Bradford BD5 8LJ.
2. Age UK Christmas Raffle (“Raffle”)
3. The Raffle will run from 8.30am on Friday 12th November 2021 (the "Opening Date") to 5pm on 17th December 2021 (the "Closing Date") inclusive.
4. To enter the Raffle, a donation of at least £1.00 must be made on this JustGiving page.
5. Each entry costs £1.00; each additional donation of £1.00 will be counted as an additional entry. For example, a donation of £2.50 will count as two entries. Any surplus payment not counting towards an entry will be treated as a general donation.
6. The Promoter will not accept entries for those participants that do not email their contact details and proof of donation to cromer@ybs.co.uk by the Closing Date. Their payment will still however be treated as a general donation.
7. Any donations received after the Closing Date will not be refundable or eligible for the Raffle and treated as a general donation.
8. The Raffle is open to residents of the United Kingdom only.
9. Employees of The Society and those outside of The Society are permitted to enter the Raffle.
10. In order to be entered into the Raffle, entrants must be at least 18 years old.

12. We will select the winner(s) at random on 20th December 2021 and will contact the winner(s) by email within one week of the Raffle.
13. If you are a winner then you agree to take part in any publicity organised in connection with this Raffle. This may involve photographs and/or press coverage.
14. By entering this Raffle; entrant’s personal information will be used by The Society for the purposes of administering and fulfilling the Raffle. In accordance with the CAP Code, the Society may publish the surname and county of winners. If you wish to object to this information being published you may do so by contacting us at cromer@ybs.co.uk. You may find further information on Age UK use your personal data and how you can exercise your rights in their privacy notice (https://www.ageuk.org.uk/help/privacy-policy/)”
15. If there is a dispute, this will be resolved by the Group Secretary of The Society or another manager authorised by The Society. Their decision is final.
16. We may have to change the rules or close the Raffle at any time and without notice if anything happens outside our control which makes this necessary. If this happens your entry fee will be refunded.
17. You accept these rules by entering the Raffle.
18. Gifts must be collected from the Cromer branch, gift vouchers can be posted.
