Year 3 Fund Raising · 24 November 2020

Every day 250 people in the UK start losing their sight. With your help, we can be there when people need us most, support independent living, create an inclusive society and prevent avoidable sight loss. Every pound you raise will help create a future where sight loss is no longer a barrier.

LATEST FUNDRAISING NEWS

Year 3 have been learning about Light this term and so they decided to base their last charity fundraiser around this theme. On Friday 2nd July, Year 3 are going to participate in a Luminous Dance Marathon. Part of the fun will be the children being able to dress up in luminous accessories, for example; luminous bike vests, reflective mirrors, decorated light hats and glow bands.

We would be extremely grateful if you could support us in our efforts by donating to our special charity - RNIB.

Our next fundraising event, is to run a collective marathon - 42 kilometres, as a year group. We will be holding the event in the last week of term.

Please donate to our cause, we would be extremely grateful.

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Read some of the reasons why we believe this is such an important charity to support:

Archie: I chose RNIB because everybody has a right to see.

Elodie: I would like to raise money for this charity because imagine how you would feel if you had to go around with your eyes closed.

Holly: I chose this charity because most people can see and it seems such a hard thing to go through if you are blind.

Ksenija: I chose to support the blind because I often think about how they manage to cross roads safely.

Phoebe: I chose to support the blind because sometimes they can get really hurt because they can’t see where they are going. They need to
be cared for.
